Alliance CDM were approached by the University of Edinburgh and asked if they would contribute to the architectural part 3 update course, held in June every year to assist students in attaining their status as architects. We are now regular contributors to this course. Following on from the success of the part 3 course we were asked to provide a yearly CDM lecture to the part 2 architecture students. As architects ourselves, we are happy to see that awareness of CDM as an integral part of all design work is being promoted within the University of Edinburgh’s School of Architecture.

The University of Edinburgh appointed us as CDM Co-ordinators in 2012 as part of a framework for their small works design department. This appointment was extended to Principal Designer when the CDM 2015 Regulations were introduced. We are now working alongside the University and their design teams on larger scale projects which we look forward to adding to our website in the coming weeks.

Alliance CDM have been working with the University of Dundee for the last ten years on projects around the main student campus and within the Medical School at Ninewells Hospital. The recent refurbishment of the lecture theatres within Ninewells Hospital were a particular challenge due to the landlocked nature of the site. Please check back within the coming weeks as we update the website with our recently completed projects.

We have recently began working with Edinburgh Napier University on a variety of projects and look forward to developing this partnership going forward.
